Position Title

Program Manager, Health Care practice

Position Description

Strong, experienced leader will execute, high-visibility, enterprise-wide programs to achieve client strategic objectives. You will provide strategic guidance to project managers, and business and technical teams in ways that promote the Naya Advisory model to advance client strategy and build company culture.

This individual will play a critical role in executing strategic programs, managing health plan implementations and operations across a wide range of cross-functional teams comprised of Naya, and client business and IT team members.

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead large, complex programs and serve as the primary contact for members of cross-functional teams.

  • Develop the necessary program documentation and artifacts, including but not limited to project plans, RAID logs, management and program status reporting, and risk mitigation, ensuring documentation supports and aligns with client strategic objectives.

  • Use program documents to identify interdependences and drive business milestones and results across all workstreams.

  • Confidently oversee day-to-day program execution; milestone and deliverable tracking and reporting, and risk and issue tracking and mitigation to ensure plan milestone and resource requirements are met.

  • Lead senior client meetings, executive workgroups and steering committees during planning and implementation.

  • Establish and maintain key relationships with executive stakeholders and delivery partners across the organization

  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to address gaps and deliver high-performance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Minimum of 7 years of large-scale Program Management experience.

  • Minimum of 10 years of health care management experience.

  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods

  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Exceptional knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and program/project management tools (e.g.; Basecamp, MS Project etc.)

  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills including the ability to present before executive leadership and large groups.

  • Excellent problem-solving ability including the development and execution of risk mitigation strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree, MBA or Master of Health Policy preferred

  • Prior Project Management Office (PMO) experience

  • PMP project management certification

Classification: Full-time with Benefits

Work Location: Position based in Detroit, MI, periods of significant travel required.

Work Hours: Work hours to be determined by client engagement requirements
